TACLOBAN CITY – The shellfish ban remains in effect in Matariñao Bay in Eastern Samar after laboratory tests confirmed red tide toxins in shellfish meat samples collected from the area, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) said.
