Kodawire is a free news product that shows how the same story is covered across the political spectrum. We group articles about one event from different publications, label each outlet Left, Center or Right, and link you to every original article so you can read the coverage yourself.
Most readers see one outlet's version of a story. The choice of headline, the facts that lead, and the voices quoted can make the same event feel very different depending on where you read it. Kodawire puts those versions side by side, shows which parts of the spectrum are covering a story at all, and flags “blindspots” where one side is barely reporting it.
Ratings are reading aids, not verdicts. “Center” does not mean “true”, and a story covered mostly by one side is not automatically biased.
Kodawire uses large language models to write story summaries, the Left / Center / Right summaries and the Bias Comparison notes, using only the articles linked on each story. These AI summaries are not individually checked by a person. Editor's notes may be drafted with AI, but each one is checked, corrected and approved by a named editor before it appears, and says so.
Kodawire was founded and is edited by Tobiloba Odejinmi, an engineering leader and two-time startup founder and CTO based in Lagos, Nigeria, with more than 12 years of experience building data-heavy platforms in fintech, healthtech and AI, including LLM data-validation pipelines. He reviews outlet ratings, approves every Editor's note and handles corrections.
Kodawire is not affiliated with any political party, campaign or publisher. The site is free to read and may be supported by advertising, which is clearly separated from story content and never influences ratings or which stories are shown.
