Two methods, two jobs
Outlet lean comes from human panels and blind surveys — the AllSides model. This-article slant and de-duplication are automated text analysis. Credibility is a separate 0–100 score (accuracy, corrections, news vs opinion). Center does not mean true.
This article vs the outlet
A masthead is not a reporter. Guest essays, wires, and topic desks can lean differently from the usual label. Topic rows on the story show how that outlet has moved on climate, markets, or culture.
One briefing per event
Identical reporting is merged into a single card. Left, center, and right frames stay on the story so you compare once instead of reading the same launch ten times.
Ownership and corrections
Parent company and ownership type sit on the story. Mixed or low claims get footnotes. Corrections are listed, not hidden in a paid tier.
Data
No third-party resale. Reading preferences stay on your device. Account data can be deleted from Profile.
