Who was Israeli American Daniel Lewin, the first victim of 9/11?

Daniel Lewin, an Israeli American, was born in Denver, Colorado, and made aliyah to Israel at 14. He served in the IDF's elite counterterrorism unit, Sayeret Matkal, and later worked at IBM in Haifa while studying at the Technion.

According to an FBI report, the 9/11 Commission, and flight attendant records, Lewin confronted Al-Qaeda hijackers on a flight and was killed by one of them.
