Student-led survey reveals Bay of Plenty teens’ concerns over under-16 social media ban

A student-led survey of nearly 600 students in the Bay of Plenty region found that most oppose the Government's proposed social media ban for under-16s.

The survey, conducted by 15-year-old Ōtūmoetai College student Liam Howard, revealed that respondents believe social media platforms play an important role in communication, connection, and support.
