Saint John Anglican Cathedral in Belize City, Belize

The British Crown built the cathedral in 1812 to establish control over the community of pirates in then British Honduras, now known as Belize.

The church was constructed using slave labour, local mahogany, and red bricks from England, and hosted significant events including coronations and funerals of influential persons.
