Sagar Spurious Liquor Tragedy: Death Toll Rises To 30; Police Bust Spurious Liquor Racket, ₹20,000 Reward On

The Sagar hooch tragedy death toll has risen to 30 as police said they busted the spurious liquor racket behind the incident. Sixteen of 30 named accused have been arrested, while ₹20,000 rewards were announced for two absconding suspects. Police recovered 27 litres of substandard liquor, bottles, caps and labels from a maize field.
