Rosal weakens slightly but keeps Signal No. 2 over Batanes and 10-meter seas off its coast
MANILA, Philippines — Signal No. 2 remains raised over Batanes and parts of the Babuyan Islands, said the state weather bureau Thursday morning, as Super Typhoon Rosal (international name: Champi) continued to move northwestward over the Philippine Sea. According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) in its latest typhoon bulletin, Rosal was last spotted 495 kilometers (km) east of Basco, Batanes as of 5 a.m. READ: Palace: Collect rainwater
