Private fuel retailers have started rationing diesel sales at their outlets amid a surge in global crude prices, driven by supply constraints caused by the ongoing West Asia conflict. However, state-owned oil marketing companies Indian Oil, HPCL and BPCL confirmed there was no such restriction at their outlets.
