P42 wage hike for Central Visayas workers

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Minimum wage earners in Central Visayas are set to receive a P42 increase in their daily wage starting October 14. The National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) approved the region’s new wage order on Saturday, September 26, granting minimum wage earners the much-awaited pay increase.
