NGT Raps Bhopal Municipal Corporation Over Failure To Trace Hospital Behind Biomedical Waste Dumping
The National Green Tribunal has pulled up Bhopal Municipal Corporation for failing to identify the healthcare facility responsible for dumping biomedical waste behind the RTO. The Tribunal ordered treatment of biomedical waste within 48 hours, GPS tracking of transport vehicles, real-time monitoring and stricter checks on healthcare institutions and waste collection systems.
