Mumbai Launches ‘Wings & Roots’ Movement To Map Biodiversity And Build Green Corridors Across City

Environmental NGO NatureRe, with BMC support, launched the Wings & Roots movement in Mumbai to map biodiversity and create native habitats. Through an app, citizens can record trees, birds, insects and other species while helping develop green spaces. The initiative aims to build ecological links from Sanjay Gandhi National Park through a city-wide green corridor.
