MP’s Ujjain Shahi Masjid Removal Sees Stone-Pelting, Tear Gas As 1,000 Personnel Deployed

Members of the Muslim community began voluntarily removing the road-widening-affected portion of Ujjain’s Shahi Masjid on Monday following an overnight agreement with the administration. The situation later turned tense after stone-pelting, prompting police to use tear gas and lathi-charge. Around 1,000 security personnel were deployed across the area.
