More than FOUR MILLION people now getting disability benefits after PIP claims surge by almost 500,000 to record high under Labour

The number of people receiving disability benefits has reached a record high of over 4 million, with a surge of almost 500,000 claims under Labour.

A significant portion of new claims, almost 40%, were for psychiatric conditions including ADHD, with over 100,000 additional people receiving Personal Independence Payments (PIP) for these conditions.
