Tourism Department data shows Kashi received 52 crore 71 lakh 41 thousand 814 Indian and foreign tourists from 2014 to July 2026. The rise in visitors has boosted hotels, restaurants, boat services and local markets. Improved infrastructure, ghats and heritage sites have expanded tourism opportunities, while preserving the city's cultural identity and traditions, officials said during the period.
