Mike Baird resigns as Cricket Australia boss amid BBL sale fallout, Boon to fill role

The former NSW premier lost the support of the state’s cricket body because of his decision to push ahead with the sale of clubs in the Big Bash League. His departure will mean former Test stalwart David Boon is elevated into the role of interim chair.
