Maharashtra To Add 1,756 New Emergency Ambulances With Advanced Medical Facilities Under 108 Service

Maharashtra will induct 1,756 new ambulances under its 108 emergency ambulance service, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said. The fleet includes Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support, newborn, bike, river-boat and sea-boat ambulances. Equipped with modern medical systems, 150 vehicles will be launched under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ for public service.
