Heathrow sees passenger numbers fall in peak summer holidays month

Heathrow airport saw a decline in passenger numbers during the peak summer holidays month of August, with 7.87 million passengers passing through its terminals, a 2.1% year-on-year decrease.

Despite this, the airport reported a record busy day on August 2, with nearly 272,000 passengers, and maintained its position as the most punctual airport.
