DSWD gets lower budget for 4Ps, AICS in 2027 NEP

The Department of Social Welfare and Development's (DSWD) flagship programs, 4Ps and AICS, will receive budget cuts in 2027 under the proposed National Expenditure Program (NEP).

• DSWD's 4Ps program will receive P99.1 billion in 2027.
• 3.5 million households will be covered by the 4Ps program in 2027.
• The budget for 4Ps is lower than in 2026.
• AICS will also receive a lower budget in 2027.
• The budget cuts are part of the proposed 2027 National Expenditure Program (NEP).
