Cendaña files complaint at NBI vs vloggers ‘mocking’ PWDs

MANILA, Philippines — Akbayan Rep. Cendaña has filed a complaint before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), which seeks to investigate online influencers and vloggers supposedly mocking persons with disabilities (PWDs) and proliferating homophobic attacks on social media. Cendaña, along with PWD advocates, arrived at the NBI headquarters in Pasay City on Tuesday morning to file the complaint. The lawmaker and advocates asked the NBI to investigate at least 30 online accounts—including th
