Religious leaders, including the Lord Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Ijebu and the Chief Imam of Ijebuland, have pleaded with Governor Dapo Abiodun to lift the embargo on the selection process for the next Awujale of Ijebuland.
The leaders, who also include a traditionalist and head of Osugbo in Ijebu-Ode, made the plea during an inauguration on Sunday.
