Amazon Says Some Data From Iran-Damaged AWS Facilities In Bahrain & UAE Is Gone For Good

Amazon Web Services told customers that some data stored only in its Bahrain and UAE facilities cannot be recovered. AWS said the affected sites were damaged by Iranian strikes in March, with several availability zones remaining offline. The company advised customers to move workloads elsewhere as it assessed permanent losses from the attacks.
