100 kilos of shark meat seized, buried in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO CITY – The Philippine Coast Guard and fishing regulators seized 100-kilos of sliced shark meat stocked inside a cooler at Veteran’s Wharf in the Cagayan port town of Aparri on Monday (September 21). The shark meat was being transported from Sitio La Union in Barangay Macanaya, when it was intercepted by the intelligence units of Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in the Cagayan region.
