The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has announced the extension of its operations to Saturdays to support taxpayers using its newly launched tax administration platform, Rev360, ahead of the June peak period for tax filing.

The disclosure was contained in a statement signed by the Executive Chairman of the NRS, Dr. Zacch Adedeji, and posted on the agency’s official X handle.

Details of Extended Operations

All Emerging, Medium, Large, and Government Business Offices nationwide will operate on Saturdays from May 8 to June 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The extended operations aim to help taxpayers navigate the new Rev360 platform and comply with tax obligations during the peak filing season.


“The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) hereby informs the general public, particularly taxpayers, that all Emerging, Medium, Large, and Government Business Offices nationwide will be open on Saturdays from 8 May to 27 June, 2026. Opening Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.”

“This initiative is part of the commitment of the Service to provide additional taxpayer support and service delivery as the rollout of Rev360 Phase I Tax Administration System commences for Medium and Emerging Taxpayer segments.”

Background on Rev360

The announcement follows the recent launch of Rev360, the NRS’s next-generation tax administration platform.


Rev360 officially went live on April 30 as part of the agency’s transition to “Tax Administration 3.0.”
The platform is designed to provide a more integrated, transparent, and efficient tax administration system.
It builds on previous digital reforms aimed at improving taxpayer experience and compliance.


The agency stated that the new system reflects its commitment to innovation and improved service delivery in Nigeria’s tax administration framework.

Additional Support and Insights

The NRS encouraged taxpayers to utilise the additional operating hours to resolve pending tax matters and seek guidance on the new system.

The Saturday operations are expected to ease pressure during the peak filing season, allowing access to support services and clarification on compliance processes.

Revenue Targets

The NRS has set a revenue target of N40.7 trillion for 2026, representing a 44% increase from the N28.29 trillion collected in 2025 and significant growth from the N6.4 trillion generated in 2021. This aligns with efforts to tackle Nigeria's debt challenges and boost non-oil revenue.

The target supports the Federal Government’s fiscal reform agenda, focusing on boosting non-oil revenue, improving compliance, and reducing dependence on borrowing.
